Back home again after a week in California

Winter is harsh and severe in Stockholm this year ..

A while ago I got a call from Liber, a Swedish educational publishing company that I have done a lot of illustrations for the last few years. They announced that I had won their annual award that they give to illustrators who work with images for teaching. In addition to a beautiful diploma, I received € 1.500 in prize money. I was really happy and flattered. What a great Christmas present! The image above is part of an illustration I did for a book on the subject Geography.

After a nice weekend in London i came home with this only picture in my camera(!) This is a painting by Chris Martin. It's from an exhibition called "Abstract America: New painting and sculpture" at Saatchi Gallery.
